Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum

The 'Azerbaijan Association of Insurers' Public Union is a non-governmental organization united by common interests. It was established on the principles of voluntarism and legal equality among members, aiming not to generate profit as its primary goal and not to distribute any income among its members. The organization's activities span the entire territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and are conducted in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law 'On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Unions and Funds)', other normative legal acts, and its Charter.

The Union was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 29, 2006, under registration number 1106-Q15-2291. It possesses an independent building, an official seal and stamp, a bank account within the Republic of Azerbaijan, and other necessary attributes. The primary goal of the association is to support the development of insurance and reinsurance companies in the Republic of Azerbaijan that are members of the association. This support includes developing their socio-economic, informational, and other developmental programs and enhancing scientific knowledge in the field. The 'Association of Azerbaijan Insurers' PU comprises 18 insurance companies and 1 reinsurance company operating in the Azerbaijani insurance market.
